Penha Longa is an elegant palazzo-style estate situated among the rolling hills of the Sintra Cascais Nature Reserve. The resort's golf course was designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr. and is in the top 30 in Continental Europe. The hotel has many recreation facilities, including indoor and outdoor pools, both tennis and squash courts, horse riding, fitness centre and a spa with treatments and an exclusive garden. A children’s playground, mini golf course and Kids' Club are also featured. Penha Longa is in a prime location for hiking and cycling excursions.
